Lazy Summer

8.19.2014

If you have ever had the privilege of meeting Jed, you've probably seen this face too many times.

I'm pretty sure this has been the laziest summer we've ever had. Usually we do a lot of traveling and camping but it seems we haven't gotten as much adventure in this year as I would have hoped. I do look forward to going to Portland next month, this will be my first time going. I'm so excited!! I'm also hoping to take the girls to Canada for their first time this fall. *fingers crossed.* Lately it seems like we have been getting out of the house late and so there isn't always a lot of day light left. Thankfully now that school has started for the kiddos we are getting our butts out of bed sooner! LOL! Is anyone as excited for fall as I am?! I have to admit that I really wish summer would stick around for a while longer even though fall truly is my favorite season.

What I wore:
Cardigan: ModCloth (Similar)  Top: Rue21(Similar)  Belt: ModCloth (Similar)  Skirt: Thrifted  Shoes: Target (Similar, or these, or these!)  Purse: Target (Similar Or this one)

Take Care & Enjoy,
Heather Gwinn

  1. Lazy summers are sometimes the best! We didn't do much this summer, either, but it didn't bother me at all! And I am so excited for fall. I love the cold weather and misty days so much! Your girls are beautiful.

    1. They really are the best. Most summers we are so busy traveling and visiting family, come fall I am completely beat! This year was a nice change with only one small trip to visit friends in Missouri. Of course we did have a lot of family visit us here too.

I love fall! So glad its here! I'll take cooler weather over hot any day. There is something so comforting about layering up and enjoying the crisp air. And thank you! My girls are growing too fast and becoming such lovely ladies.
